Save the Dates gone wrong

So I had this idea to send out save-the-dates that were going to simulate 4 black-and-white shots of Dustin and I like how we'll have the StudioB photos at the reception. So we just set the timer on the camera to take candid shots of us and in some we were holding up a sign that I was going to Photoshop different words on like "Save the Date" and "09.26.2009." However, it just looked homemade and stupid. I don't know if I can't work my camera or what, but I'm not impressed at all with the quality and feel bad cause dustin supposedly researched this and got a good one. Here is one of the shots of us which I had to post because we loved these shirts some relatives got us when we got engaged and was so excited to use them for something.
