Condo for sale!

If ANYONE out there is reading this and wanting a new home in St. Louis, I'm thinking of a perfect little townhome near westport that you should buy! So I'm officially trying to sell my condo....finally. I'm trying to do it myself and if that doesn't work out, then resort to using a realtor or looking into leasing it. I made up some fliers that we are displaying outside since the 2 next door to me are for sale, so hopefully they'll bring some traffic over my way. And then I posted an ad to Craigslist last night. Please please please just someone buy this so I can be done with it! The good news is that I had signed up for a 5-yr ARM when I bought the place and that expires with my next payment...well I got a letter yesterday and my rate goes lower to 4.125 after next month! So I was at least excited to see that I'll be paying less on it after this month. Here's my flyer if by chance my awesome blog has inspired you to want to now live where I once lived...haha!

Save-the-Dates 99% done

So this last week we were very very very busy with wedding items (in addition to all the birthdays and doing some things for my condo)!

We got a website put together: www.mywedding.com/amyanddustin. We have a few pages that aren't published yet, but are in progress and I just ran out of time this week.

We got the hotel block reserved for the out of town guests.

And we got our save-the-date cards and magnets sent out to almost all people we had tagged to send them to.

From Little Miss Bossy to Ms Sneeze

So we have FINALLY got some nice weather....but unfortunately yesterday it was almost too hot! It reached the upper 80s! After work we went over to mike shannon's for a few drinks before the cards/cubs game and to enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately I guess it was my first time outdoors for a period of time and my stupid allergies started really kicking in. I've started taking my medicine, so usually that helps a bunch. After that we went to SideBar and ate dinner and watched the game indoors. Hopefully today they won't be so bad so I can do something outdoors if I want! It's my last day before turning 30 so I gotta make the most of it! Dustin has made dinner reservations for tonight...so will be interesting to see what he has planned.

Busy Busy Bee

Well I've just been swamped lately with all sorts of things- wedding planning, getting the condo for sale, etc. Tonight I'm off to the Jive and Wail for my 2nd bday party there this month! This time it's for Crystal who will hopefully have more fun than my mom did. Not sure what exactly we are doing this weekend, but just want to spend lots of time outside if my allergies aren't horrendous. Sticking to the diet these next few days is going to be tough....but I'll try to make some smart choices! Well I should have some postings soon with some new info!

I'm a cheater

Ok, so this diet thing sucks! For the record, my starting weight is 133.4 and I just want to get to 125 by the wedding, so at least I have a realistic amount of time to do this. I started trying to eat healthier and exercise on Monday. I've made it to the gym both days and had decent workouts. I've eaten at least one meal each day that was a healthy choice or smart ones frozen entree. For snacks, I've limited myself to a 100 calorie bag of popcorn, fruit cup, or yogurt as my choices. So this all sounds like I'd be right on track, right??? WRONG! Monday I did SO good and then as I was watching 24 I decided the DQ ice cream cake in the freezer was calling my name and since I had been so good (on Day 1) I could have a few bites. Well after a few bites it was just getting soft enough that it was easier to eat, so I decided I'd eat half a piece. Well then I decided that wasn't enough to put back in the freezer, so just eat the whole thing. I didn't even bother to look up the calories, but that was just a bad decision! I have no control cause this was a huge piece! I just love good food way too much! Yesterday I did better, so hopefully I can keep on track!
